About ProTex Environmental

What Is It That We Do…

ProTex Environmental works diligently to keep our clients in compliance with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s (“TCEQ”) current regulations regarding pollutant release from construction sites.

TPDES Permit Compliance from Groundbreak to Termination

The regulation — Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (“TPDES”) Construction General Permit TXR150000 — outlines expectations of both Contractors and Owners of projects disturbing 1 acre or greater of ground (or projects that are part of a “common plan of development” disturbing 1 acre or greater). The TPDES General Permit allows for the discharge of stormwater from construction sites, provided the rules of the Permit are followed.

ProTex Environmental, LLC provides end-to-end Permit compliance consulting, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (“SWP3”) design, Permit application assistance, required site inspection service across the DFW Metroplex, ongoing SWP3 compliance consulting, and Permit termination assistance.

How It Works

Five Steps to Complete TCEQ Stormwater Compliance

STEP 01

Online Project Intake

Submit your project details, operator info, and civil plan link at newprojectform.com.

STEP 02

SWP3 & Site Map Design

We prepare your site-specific SWP3 binder, erosion control map, receiving waters analysis, and CSNs.

STEP 03

STEERS eNOI & MS4 Filing

For 5+ acre projects, we prepare your STEERS eNOI for quick e-signature and handle local MS4 submittals.

STEP 04

Routine Site Inspections

Choose ProTex DFW field inspectors (7-day or 14-day) or self-inspect anywhere in Texas using ProTexion.

STEP 05

Final Stabilization & NOT

Once 70% vegetative cover is met and BMPs are removed, we guide your Notice of Termination (eNOT).
